Support FAMILY-A1 : We can’t help everyone but everyone can help someone

Family A1: The family of A1 resides in a rented apartment in Selayang with their three children. Her family is Pakistani and registered as refugees in Malaysia. The family relied on her husband’s income and the available assistance from UNHCR for years to get by. However, A1’s husband got diagnosed with liver cancer, leaving the family with no income but refugee aid which barely covers his medical expenses. With the escalating food prices and monthly rentals, she can no longer manage the costs at her home. She has approached HWSKLS seeking financial assistance because her husband’s health is deteriorating each day, and the fear of being homeless is making her experience excruciating anxiety. HWSKLS has verified her case by visiting her home and reviewing her husband’s medical records.

HWSKLS has linked her with all available support, but all this is still insufficient to keep the roof over her head in the coming months. On behalf of her, HWSKLS would like to request you to donate a convenient amount to our support of a family project. Your smallest act of generosity—even only RM10.00 to 50.00 RM—can make a significant difference in her life. Since the family is a refugee, they don’t have a personal bank account.
